KBase paper preprint available

The first paper about KBase is now available as a preprint on bioRxiv (http://biorxiv.org/content/early/2016/12/22/096354). The paper describes both the underlying structure and components of KBase and the way it can be used by researchers to perform large-scale systems biology analyses and share their data, results and conclusions. To illustrate how KBase facilitates collaborative research, the paper walks through an example showing how two scientists (a wet-lab biologist and a computational biologist) can combine their expertise and accelerate their progress by working together on a series of KBase Narratives that capture their analysis workflows and commentary. You can access these Narratives yourself at http://kbase.us/kbase-paper, and rerun the analysis steps or even try them on your own data.
