Dr. Vivek Kumar of CSHL is giving a talk (BIO-9) in the workshop entitled “ABC’s (Analysis, Bioinformatics and Computation) in the Classroom”. His talk title is “KBase: Advancing systems biology of plants using high-throughput inference and modeling of biological functions.” The workshop runs from 11:30 AM – 1:00 PM on Monday, June 26 in room 316A.
Dr. Sunita Kumari of CSHL will present a poster, “From short reads to differentially expressed genes to metabolic pathways using KBase” (#400-004).
Dr. Samuel Seaver of ANL will present another poster that includes KBase: “Exploring the impact of cyanobacterial nitrogen fixation in peat moss using an in silico reconstruction of Sphagnum-Nostoc metabolism” (#1000-033).
